Application

Once you have found the vacancy you would like to apply to on the Current Vacancies page, simply apply online.

If you don’t have a CV don’t worry, you can apply without one.

The team at the home will then review your details and be back in contact with you to discuss next steps.

Telephone Interviews

So that we can find out more about you, we may want to have a quick phone call to ask you about your availability, your location and some other key information to enable us to consider you for the role. Don’t worry, there’ll be nothing that you need to prepare apart from just your own questions you may have!

Take the opportunity to find out everything you want to know about the role and the home.

Interviews & Experience Days

Everyone who attends an interview with us will be asked set interview questions, for a lot of roles with us you don’t need experience so we look at whether you are aligned to our values. Take a look at Our Values page to find out more.

To help you prepare, we can also send you the interview questions! If they are not sent to you with the interview confirmation, just ask and we will be happy to send them on.

This is the perfect opportunity for you to find out if working for us is the right move for you, it’s not just about whether we think you are right for us! Make sure that you take this time to learn everything you need to know.

The interview will be face to face in the home with one of our managers, on the rare occasion that it’s not possible to interview in the home, you may be asked to join a video interview instead.

If your interview has gone well, but we feel that you would benefit from spending some more time with us, there is an opportunity for you to come back to the home for a few hours to shadow one of our team.

On this day you will really get a feel for what it’s like to work with us and again, this is also so you can decide whether it’s the right move for you.

Background Checks

The safety and happiness of our residents is at the core of everything we do so making sure our new team members have been thoroughly background checked is vital.

DBS:
Every person who works within our business is required to have a clear DBS, we will apply for this when you have been offered a job with us and we will of course arrange and pay the cost for this.

References:
We will contact your previous employers for an employment reference, or if you have been studying and this is your first job we can contact your tutors or a representative from where you studied. In some cases, we will accept character references too.

Right to Work:
You will be asked to provide evidence that you have the right to work in the UK. You will need to supply original documents at the point of the job offer. We are also able to carry out Digital Identity Checks should you have your details online.

Introduction & Start Date

On day one with us you will attend a company induction where you will get to meet the team and residents, have a tour of the home and learn about fire and safety before being inducted in to your role.

You will then continue to work through an induction for your first few weeks, this will include shadowing experienced team members and E-learning. The length of your induction will depend on your experience and the role.

Once you have been through your induction, you will continue to work through different E-learning modules and have the opportunity to attend face to face training courses throughout your career with us.
