We are continuously seeking exceptional carers in Berkshire to join our team. If you have a kind heart and a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you.
A place to grow belong
Berkshire, with its roots reaching back to the seventh century, carries a legacy of resilience and cultural significance. Similarly, thriving as a carer in Berkshire necessitates extraordinary qualities. At the Berkley Care Group, we maintain the pinnacle of care standards. However, beyond credentials, it’s about embracing empathy, understanding, and the capability to provide multifaceted assistance to our clients.
What to expect at Shinfield View
As a staff member at a Berkley Care residential home, you will be part of a team that prioritises person-centred care, tailoring our approach to each individual’s needs. We create personalised care plans to foster well-being and contentment among our residents.
Your role involves providing personalised attention, assisting with daily activities, engaging residents in meaningful interactions, and offering a listening ear. Your contributions ensure each resident feels valued and cared for.
In our short-term care (respite care), you will provide the same comprehensive services and support as our full-time residential care but for shorter durations. This includes welcoming individuals considering a trial period in a care home or recovering from surgery or an accident, ensuring they receive the support they need.
We have been awarded an outstanding rating by the CQC in all five areas, recognising our commitment to excellence. The CQC commended our registered manager and staff for their skills, innovative thinking, and efforts to minimise risks while promoting independence. They highlighted the exceptional care and kindness shown to our residents, a testament to our team’s dedication and compassion.
As part of our team, you will contribute to a standard of care recognised as outstanding, making a real difference in the lives of our residents every day.
If you would like a detailed conversation about our process or how we can make adjustments to help you through our application and interview journey, please email our central team on jo****@*****************co.uk or call our recruitment hotline 01442 948360.
