A warm welcome from our Chief Executive Officer

The social gathering when entering a home is key. When you walk into a Berkley Care home, it’s so rewarding to see residents and families socialising in the lounge or bistro, taking part in activities, all with a smile on their face. This is the life and soul of a care home – it feels vibrant and makes you feel part of the home. We can design, build and furnish the space, but it’s the people that truly make it a home.

How we interact with families, staff and residents is unique to Berkley and we’re dedicated to providing the best experience from the moment anyone walks through the door. We want families to say, ‘This isn’t what I thought a care home would be like.’

I’m incredibly proud of every single person that works for Berkley Care Group, and the care sector as a whole. The smiles on the staff’s faces and the joy it brings them to see the smiles on residents faces, day in day out – it’s humbling to see.

LAURA PERRY | CEO AND CO-FOUNDER | BERKLEY CARE GROUP

“We exist to help people live well today and thrive tomorrow — with luxury living, fun, and care at our core.”

The Berkley Care Group Mission

Our values

Care Reimagined means giving people the freedom to live fully today, with the support to thrive in all their tomorrows.

Trust

Honest communication with families. Keeping promises we make. Following through on commitments to residents every day.

Initiative

Spotting what someone needs before they ask. Finding solutions quickly. Taking action that improves residents’ daily experiences.

Responsibility

Doing the right thing even when nobody’s watching. Owning our mistakes. Being accountable to the people who trust us with their care.

Award-winning care

Our award-winning homes have been listed multiple times as a top 20 care home by carehome.co.uk, alongside winners and finalists in the Care Awards 2020. Why? We focus on what makes life worth living. Morning tea on the terrace. Laughter over cocktails. Residents tending gardens they planted themselves. This is what outstanding care looks like.
