At Berkley Care Group, we believe that the spaces within our homes should do more than simply look beautiful, they should bring people together, support connection and enrich everyday life.

At Leycester House Care Home, this philosophy has recently come to life through the opening of the home’s newly refurbished bar and bistro.
The refurbishment was marked with a special celebration as residents, families, colleagues and members of the local community gathered to officially open the space. The Mayor of Warwick, Jackie D’Arcy, joined our CEO Laura Perry, to formally declare the bar and bistro open, marking an exciting new chapter for life at Leycester House.
The beautifully redesigned space has been thoughtfully created to support the simple pleasures that make daily life meaningful. Residents can now enjoy a morning coffee in a quiet corner of the bistro, meet family for lunch, or share a relaxed glass of wine with friends before dinner.
At the heart of the design is the handmade bar, which now forms the social centre of the home. With its warm finishes and inviting atmosphere, it provides a welcoming place for conversation, laughter and connection. Alongside this, the cosy snug and comfortable seating areas offer quieter spaces where residents can relax with loved ones, spend time with friends or simply unwind at their own pace.

The new bar and bistro reflect Berkley Care Group’s continued commitment to creating environments that feel truly homely while supporting vibrant and sociable communities within our homes. Thoughtful design, warm hospitality and opportunities to connect are all part of ensuring residents can continue to enjoy the rituals and pleasures of everyday life.
As the first glasses were raised and conversations flowed during the opening celebration, it was clear that this new space will quickly become a much-loved part of daily life at Leycester House.
And this is only the beginning. The bar and bistro are set to host many moments yet to come, from family gatherings and celebrations to quiet coffees and friendly catch-ups, creating memories that will shape the life of the home for years to come.
