Come and visit us to see what life at Berkley really feels like.
We welcome tours for anyone considering care for themselves or a loved one. Meet the team, explore the facilities, ask questions and get a genuine sense of the atmosphere. Join us for lunch or a drink in the bar if you’d like. The best way to understand whether somewhere feels right is to experience it yourself.
You'll be shown around the home by a member of our team, meet some of the staff and residents, and have the chance to ask any questions. There's no pressure, it's simply an opportunity to get a feel for whether the home is right for your loved one.
Most tours last around an hour, though we're happy to spend longer if you have lots of questions or would like to see more of the home.
Yes, we encourage it. Bringing a family member or someone your loved one trusts can make the visit more comfortable and help everyone feel confident in the decision.
Good questions to ask include: what the staffing ratios are, how care plans are reviewed, what a typical day looks like, how meals are handled, and what happens if a resident's needs change. Read our step-by-step guide to moving into care for more guidance on what to look for.
You can book a tour at any of our 11 homes across England. View The Berkley Collection to find your nearest home and request a visit.
