What Are the Different Types of Care Homes?
Choosing the right care home is an important decision, and it helps to understand the types of care available. At Berkley Care, we focus on supporting every resident with a care plan tailored to their needs and interests.
Residential Care Homes
Residential care homes provide day-to-day personal support, helping with washing, dressing, eating, and taking medication. They’re perfect for people who want to remain independent but benefit from a little extra help and companionship, with our friendly staff on hand 24/7.

Nursing homes

At homes offering nursing care, residents enjoy the same personal support as in a residential home, with the added reassurance of qualified nurses available around the clock. This ensures that those with ongoing medical needs receive the care and supervision they require.

Dementia care homes

We specialise in dementia care across all our homes, creating safe, familiar, and supportive environments. Our trained staff understand the unique challenges of memory conditions and are dedicated to maintaining independence, dignity, and quality of life.

At Berkley Care, we provide both residential and dementia care across all our homes. At Blenheim House, Leycester House, Cedar Mews, and Badminton Place, we also offer nursing care, combining everyday support with expert medical care when needed.
Our homes are designed to be welcoming, nurturing and inspiring – a place where residents feel valued, supported and truly at home.
